"Big Red 1", the license plate frame speaks the truth. This car is owned by an older couple who are trusting enough in ICON to perform all the work on this particular 1964 Dodge Polara. It is equipped with a stock spec 383 and an automatic transmission for carefree cruising. We here at ICON have done a lot of little things to this vehicle such as minor electrical work including installation of a new voltage regulator, fixing many minor electrical connectors, and installing a new alternator. The engine bay was completely rewired at ICON for the sake of safety. ICON also performed brake work on this car including the installation of SSBC front disc brakes and fixing an issue with the rear brake adjusters. Other little work includes oil changes, transmission work, and most recently we disassembled the front of the car for body and paint work following an unfortunate incident where an electrical truck backed into the front fender, damaging the fender, and very hard to find trim pieces. The car was fixed and reassembled and back to the customers within two weeks.
