You ever have a rear main oil seal leak ? That is why this 1966 Dodge Coronet came to ICON. Simple fix right? not exactly. The seal had been replaced 3 times previous but still leaked an alarming amount of oil so the oil pan was pulled as well as the rear main retainer and behold, the main cause of the problem...    a marine crank had been installed in this particular 440. The marine crank had a lip that not used in an automotive engine making the rear main seal leak. It was decided and the engine was pulled for a rebuild. The block needed a little work so it was sent to the machine shop and the necessary work was completed. While we waited for the engine parts to return, we took our free time to address a couple small electrical issues that were present. Upon the block's return the engine was assembled and reinstalled into the convertible.
