This car came to ICON for extensive bodywork and patch panels. The car is destined for a fuel injected 454 and a 4-speed. The car was first stripped for media blasting. The Chevelle needed a lot of metal work done, including patching of the firewall, modifying the trunk floor, removal of the driver's side quarter panel and installation of a new panels. The car also received a passenger side quarter panels during its tenure along with patch panels being fabricated for the front fenders, fabrication of the rear package tray area, building of a custom dolly to support the body, numerous holes filled, and fabrication for the rear valance.
