1969 Plymouth Road Runner

This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner needed some work when it came into ICON Engineering. The owner had purchased the car with a 383 4-speed combo and was Green on Green. The customer asked ICON to remove certain parts of the car, namely the engine, transmission, windshield, rear window, and dash. The car was then given back to the customer for paint and bodywork he had previously arranged. When the car came back it was as you see it now, Orange and black. While the Roadrunner was gone, ICON Engineering built a streetable 440ci big block. Icon dropped the K-member when the car returned and rebuilt the front suspension and reinstalled the K-member with the engine and transmission in place. While the car was on the lift, the third member was swapped to a 3.23 sure grip unit due to owner preference. The dash cluster was restored at ICON Engineering and reinstalled in the car without incident. Also installed during its tenure was a new engine bay wiring harness because of previous electrical issues; also the turn signal switch inside the steering column was broken and subsequently replaced as well. The owner did also wish for the factory "Air Grabber"  set up to be installed, so the system was modified to accommodate the taller 440 and installed without issue.
