1969 Plymouth Road Runner

Yet another 1969 Road Runner has found its way to ICON. The owner is a member of the local South Bay Mopars and has entrusted us to perform the engine work on his Mopar. The Road Runner's 383 will be receiving a new set of Edelbrock Aluminum Performer RPM heads and a new camshaft which Alex has yet to have ground. The owner also requested that ICON select and install a tach (seeing how the factory dash unit is non-operational) as well as a trio of gauges to show the engine vitals. While The Road Runner is in our tenure, Alex will check some small electrical concerns in the car including the some tail-light issues.

UPDATE 26 Jan 2008: The Edelbrock heads, camshaft, and the other new components  have been installed and the engine is now running. The camshaft was broken in and the car was later test driven. The Road Runner is not in the process of being wrapped up.

UPDATE 1 Feb 2008: The work on the Road Runner has been completed and the owner is pleased with the results of the work.
