1970 Dodge Charger R/T

This 1970 Dodge Charger R/T is owned by the original owner to this day and was brought to ICON Engineering for a minor restoration. After disassembly the car was sent to body and paint. The engine was disassembled and rebuilt along with the automatic transmission. Originally that was the plan. Upon the reassembly process the project for infinitely more complex. The owner "wanted everything perfect". No big deal. We then began working order completely new wiring harnesses, emblems, interior pieces, suspension components, and refinishing every component on the car. The Exhaust was replaced with an accurate recreation of the factory exhaust and the suspension components were rebuilt with new bushings and powder coated for durability. The interior was treated to new seat covers, seat foam, door panels, window cranks, window felts, carpet, sound deadener, completely restored dash and instrument cluster, new arm rest bases, restored evaporator, new door handles, new headliner, and a restored steering column. The Exterior was treated to a new paint job, a new rear tail stripe, reproduction wheels with new tires, re chromed bumpers, the grill was restored at ICON, a new vinyl top as installed, and the rear finish panel was restored. This 1970 Dodge Charger was the definition of a complete restoration. This car was removed from ICON Engineering with roughly 95% of the restoration complete at the owner's request.
