1970 Plymouth Road Runner

This bright red 1970 Plymouth Road Runner came from an owner who complained of a faulty horn, non-functional flashers, differential noises, and weak braking performance. The problem was narrowed down when ICON pulled the driver side rear brake drum and saw everything covered in seal oil. The axle seals were damaged and allowing oil to escape, not a good situation to have. The axles were removed and all the axle seals were replaced. We then installed a differential plug (which was missing) and installed new gear oil. The brakes were treated to new shoes and drums due to oil contamination and scoring. The steering column was then disassembled to service the turn signals, hazard lights, locking mechanism, and the horn striker. All the issues were resolved in short order and the steering column was reassembled. This car is equipped with a warmed over 383 and a TF727 that is shifted via the column. This car is also optioned with the extremely saught after "Air Grabber" fresh air hood system.
