The owner of this 1974 Challenger met up with the ICON gang at Spring Fling '08 and discussed getting some issues sorted out on his Challenger. The Challenger was brought in for a lack of charging, overheating, and a no-start situation. The car's no-starting issue was quicly resolved with minimal work. The overheating problem was traced to a faulty radiator cap as well as an inaccurate water temp gauge. The charging issue has also been traced to the use of a stock alternator with a series of high power drawing parts such as an electric fuel pump and dual electric fans. This will be solved with putting the electric fans on a thermostat as well as installing a higher output alternator.
