This 2006 Chevrolet Yukon XL is owned by a local sports athlete and came to ICON for some simple fixes. The owner had a monstrous sound system installed and the stock alternator was not up to the take of charging everything in the vehicle. The alternator was then swapped to a 250A version to remedy the situation. While the Yukon was here, we also were commissioned to install a set of Edelbrock headers onto the 6.0L engine. The truck already had a cat-back exhaust system installed along with a Vortec supercharger, so we believed the stock manifolds were severely limiting performance. The headers were installed and returned to the customer within a day.
